Looking for the Best Harley Davidson Touring Seats - What Do You Recommend?

If you’re looking at the newer models, especially from 2017 onwards, just be wary about the airflow adjustments. Some seats can block vents, which messes with the comfort.

Wow, I didn’t think about the venting issue! Does anyone have experience with the Hammock seat? I’ve heard mixed things.

I’ve heard that the Hammock seat is fantastic but can be a bit tricky to install if you’re not familiar with the bike’s inner workings. Let’s just say, watch some how-to videos first!

It’s definitely a DIY project for the brave-hearted! But hey, if you mess up, a trip to the dealer might be worth the laughs they’ll have.

I’ve owned a few different touring seats over the years. The Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra seat is my top pick! It’s super comfortable for long rides and has great lumbar support.

I’ve heard great things about that seat too! How does it compare to aftermarket options like the Mustang seats?

Mustang seats are fantastic as well! They have a wider feel and can be customized. I have one on my bike and find it really supportive. Pricing varies but expect to pay a bit more for the comfort.

Is it worth the extra cash? I’m on a budget here, but I really want something that’ll last.

Definitely worth it! A good touring seat can make or break your ride. Trust me, I learned the hard way with a cheap seat that left me sore after 50 miles!

I’ve been on the saddle for hours with my Corbin seat, and it feels like sitting on a cloud. Just be aware, it’s on the pricier side. Anyone else had experience with Corbin?

A cloud sounds nice! But does it get hot in the summer? I live in a really warm area!

That’s a good question! I had trouble with heat on Corbin during hot days, but nothing unbearable. Now I use a seat cover that helps with airflow.

Seat covers can help! But I wonder if they mess with the overall look of the bike.

They can alter the aesthetics, but comfort comes first! Besides, there are lots of styles. I’m thinking about going for a custom cover myself!
