I’m glad someone brought this up! My 2014 EcoBoost has been leaking coolant like crazy. I took it to the dealer, and they say it’s a common issue. Has anyone else run into this?
Coolant issues seem prevalent in the 2014 models. I experienced turbo lag and had to replace a turbo last year. It’s a financial hit, but at least it’s running better now.
I’ve been having similar issues with my 2014 F-150 EcoBoost. The power seems to drop unexpectedly, especially during heavy acceleration. I’m considering upgrading my intake system. Has anyone tried that? What are the benefits?
I feel you! I had the same power drop issue. I swapped out my factory intake for an AFE Power stage 2 and noticed a big difference in throttle response and horsepower. Highly recommend it!
Upgrading the exhaust system can also add some serious performance gains! I went with a Flowmaster and it sounds great while increasing the torque significantly. Worth a look!
I tried a different brand of tuner and it didn’t really do much for my truck. Just goes to show, make sure you read reviews before buying! Not all tuners are created equal.
Is it really worth all the money to mod these trucks? I love my EcoBoost but I’m hesitant to put serious cash into it. Anyone think it’s a good investment?
I get where you’re coming from! But if you love driving it, the added performance and enjoyment could be priceless! Plus, some mods can actually increase resale value.
