Definitely! I made sure to do my runs on a clean, flat stretch of road. Weather also plays a big role; cooler temps seem to help with performance.
The 2017 Macan GTS is capable of going from 0-60 in about 4.6 seconds. However, there are mods like a performance chip and exhaust system that can improve that time significantly. Has anyone tried those yet?
Thatās pretty impressive! Iāve heard that adding a cold air intake can boost performance as well. Anyone have real-life experience with that?
Cold air intakes definitely help! I installed one on mine and noticed a slight improvement in acceleration. Also, some guys are swearing by ECU tuningāworth exploring!
Did you notice any changes in fuel efficiency too? Just curious if itās a win-win situation!
Fuel efficiency did improve slightly, but not by much. The gains are mainly in performance. Iāve also considered a sport exhaust. Has anyone done that modification?
I have a sport exhaust on mine, and it sounds amazing! Thereās a noticeable gain in the 0-60 time, plus it feels more responsive.
Interesting discussion! What about tire upgrades? Iāve heard that the right set can decrease your 0-60 times as well. Anyone have thoughts on tire brands?
Thatās great to know, @rayjennifer! I might just have to invest in those! I love how this community shares insights. It really helps us all improve our rides together.
Iām a big fan of Michelin Pilot Sport tires. They made a huge difference in grip and acceleration for my Macan.
