I’m currently considering upgrading my Dyna with a king and queen seat, and I’d really appreciate some feedback from anyone who has experience with them. I’m specifically looking into:
Comfort: How does the seat feel on long rides? Is it worth the investment?
Aesthetics: How does the king and queen seat look on your bike? Does it complement the Dyna’s style?
Installation: Are there any challenges when installing it? Is it a straightforward process or did you need to make modifications?
Durability and Quality: Has the seat held up well over time? Any issues with wear and tear?
Customization Options: Are there cool design choices or colors available that you’ve tried or recommend?
I’m looking to hear about any brands you prefer or any particular models that have impressed you. If you have pictures of your rides with the seats, that would be awesome too! I’m eager to gather some opinions before making a purchase.
I’ve had my Dyna King and Queen seat for about a year now. For long rides, the comfort level is fantastic! The cushioning feels just right and provides great back support.
It’s a nice balance! The seat is firm enough to provide support, but there’s definitely a plush feel that cushions bumps on the road. Perfect for those long rides!
I’ve had a different experience. After a few hours, I felt a bit of discomfort. Maybe it’s just my body type, but I expected better back support from a premium seat.
I’ve just installed the Dyna King and Queen seat on my 2018 Dyna Street Bob, and the fitting was surprisingly smooth. The instructions were clear, and it fits perfectly! Just had to watch out for the rear bolts; they can be a bit tricky.
Great to hear! I found the instructions somewhat vague, but the seat fits wonderfully on my 2020 Low Rider. I think the key is to have the right tools ready before starting.
Why is it that installation instructions always leave out the important details? Still, I love how it looked on my 2016 Dyna Switchback after the install.
Installation was a breeze for me! I have a 2015 Dyna Wide Glide, and everything lined up perfectly. Just be patient with the the wiring if you’re adding a backrest later on; it can get crowded back there.
